It works for YouKnowWho. Hey I was just kidding. I like how you can see how many hits are on a thread. 10 people stopped by without saying hello. On the one hand they didn't say hello but on the other they did stop by! I was unhappy about not being able to find any good jifs. I mean gifs. So I thought I would turn to my favorite subject: Me, Myself and, last but not least, I!!!

To answer your provocative question ... not exactly.
And, with Brian checking into this thread, let's not confuse a peanut butter brand with a gif. file, ok?

I know I'm just a tease. I really didn't mean to start this thread which is sort of embarrassing--it was just that I was the last person to post on the top five threads and I just thought why stop there y'know. Thanks for stopping by though. Really. I wish I'd baked a cake.

I'm thrilled beyond words that you'll be coming to Tonic on August 9. Until then, I'm ignoring you.

I think Pete and I have a little unfinished arm-wrestling business from last year when Tip failed to show....

Perfect.
Really, thanks guys. Now the pressure's on but I have to disappear, my co-worker's husband died yesterday and I have to give her a call and finish up my work and carry on an IM conversation with my best friend and her 12-year old daughter who is reciting Beatles' lyrics AT me.
Those wrestlers look like Scott's friends.

Tip
To the tune of XTC's ARE YOU RECIEVING ME -1978 (Maybe '79 )
Are you ignoring me?
You should be adoring me I know, see I know
When I'm here on-line
it's a game where I praise your wit and you praise mine
When you're posting
It's me that you should be toasting, not anybody else
Are you listening?
I posted on a Goody thread, how good am I you never said?
I put it in the Alley, but you ignored me Pally
I put it in Speak Out, but someone let the Gerbils out
Fella's there's something missing
Your PC's just hissing
Are you ignoring me?
You should be adoring me, I know, yeah I know
I guess it helps if you know the song! ;0)

Damn, I forget how gosh darn sweet you people are. Way sweeter than I deserve in fact...so extra thanks to all (for indulging my base nature)! Thanks for the champers, the love...
Henry, I have an XTC album from way back, forget which however, but muchos gracias for the poem (yay!).
Darling Bo, I would never have dared aspire to plain doodie stainhood, let alone MAIN doodie stainhood, so this is truly a red letter day.
Really, thanks everybody for not ignoring me. It means more than you will ever know.

Tippy, you deserve sweetness at all times. Yes, you do.
Apropos of nothing, here are the lyrics to my favorite XTC song, a song about reality, so rare in rock'n'roll:
I've been praying all the week through
At home, at work and on the bus
I've been praying I can keep you
And to earn enough for us
I can take humiliation
And hurtful comments from the boss
I'm just praying by the weekend
I can earn enough for us
Found a house that won't repair itself
With it's windows cracking
And a roof held together with holes
Just because we're at the bottom of the ladder
We shouldn't be sadder
Than others like us
Who have goals for the betterment of life
Glad that you want to be my wife, but honest
I've been praying all the week through
At home at work and on the bus
I've been praying I can keep you
And to earn enough for us
So you're saying that we're going to be three
Now, a father's what I'll be
Don't get me wrong, I'm so proud
But the belt's already tight
I'll get another job at night, but honest
I can take humiliation
And hurtful comments from the boss
I'm just praying by the weekend
I can earn enough for us
Just because we're at the bottom of the ladder
We shouldn't be sadder
Than others like us
Who have goals for the betterment of life
Glad that you want to be my wife, but honest
I can take humiliation
And hurtful comments from the Boss
I'm just praying by the weekend
I can earn enough for us
I can earn enough for us
