Global Music Foundation Launches Jazz and Wine Tours in Tuscany

Global Music Foundation Launches Jazz and Wine Tours in Tuscany

Discerning travelers can enjoy an innovative combination of music, food and drink in the hills of Tuscany this summer. Jazz & Wine tours feature luxury accommodation, wine tasting, guided tours of Tuscan cultural and culinary delights by day and world-class jazz performances by night. They complement three Global Music Foundation (GMF) August music festivals and summer schools:

Tuscany Jazz Vocal Summer School and Festival of Voice: 12 - 17 August 2007

Rhythms of the World - Brazil and the Samba: 12 - 17 August 2007

Tuscany International Jazz Summer School & Arts Festival: 20 to 25 August 2007

The new venture is the brainchild of GMF, which has assembled a world-class line-up of jazz musicians for the tours' evening concert performances set in the castle courtyards, beautiful piazzas and palace gardens of the enchanting medieval hilltop town of Certaldo Alto.

The GMF Festivals and summer schools have received the official patronage of the regional Government of Tuscany (Regione Toscana), the province of Florence (Provincia di Firenze) and the Town of Certaldo (Comune di Certaldo).

Early booking for Jazz & Wine tours is recommended. In order to provide a high standard of service and attention to guests, only 15 places are available on each tour. Individual travelers are very welcome.
