Is that chess? Cool.
No, I'm really not very familiar at all with her work. I saw her at BAM back around 1987, I think, and enjoyed the show well enough, but wasn't sure at the time that the music would stand so well on its own without the dance and theatre. What I've happened to have heard on radio since then hasn't pushed me toward listening further, but I've by no means given her a fair shot.

I remember enjoying M.M.'s Dolmen Music, but I haven't heard it in about 20 years.

the monk music cover on post 24, i must inclusion, but i dont know if it's good or bad. it looks kinda wrong. who knows, maybe monk loved it.
also the posts above by laz of monk in europe with the big hat. those fotos interest me. the fotos seem to suggest a time period where monk is struggling mental health. again maybe not

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the thrust of your remark, frankpop1, but I can't relate a hat or any of these photos to Monk possibly struggling with mental health issues. I don't understand a potential correlation. Monk dug hats, obviously. In fact, on this thread, Monk can be seen wearing at least 10 different hats/caps/toques.
In fact, here's another one. It's not a particularly clean, crisp photo, but it's interesting.
