Top Ten Avatars

Whose avatars do you like?

Tanager
Achilles
Brian Olewnick
Pete C
Lex Luthor
Bluenoter
Monte Smith
Dennis Gonzalez
Joe Christmas

Can't decide on number ten. But there aren't very many to begin with!

I prefer lists to polls.

Besides, in a poll you only choose one. The question is which are the top ten, not which one of an arbitrary ten do you prefer...

Yes, but they're still only polls: I tell you what the choices are, you pick. The point of the Top Ten section historically has been to list your top ten choices and ask others to list *their* top ten choices. And to talk about those choices! Polls are useless. I hate them more than I hate graphic yellow smilies.

Me, confound it.

Or do the Fleischer Brothers (no Ari jokes, please) get no love 'round here?

Ok, Sorry Tom, I missunderstood your inital post. I thought you want us to choose our favourite Avatar among those you listed in your post #1 ! Then a poll would have been much easier to do.
So this is going to be a usual Top-10 list. I'll post my favourites later.

Uli, I hate you. (big graphic yellow smiley)

Joe, I hadn't seen your avatar. I'll make it my number 10! And who are the Fleischer brothers?

Tom -- Max and Dave Fleischer, Disney's great animation rivals in the 20's and 30's. gave us Betty Boop and Popeye. Much grittier, grosser, urban and even jazzy humor than Disney, as anyone whose seen the rotoscoped Cab Calloway performance they did can attest.

There are more and more cool avatars appearing. Ron Thorne's peppercorns and Canuck Don's maple leaf are good! Not to mention Mone's (although that one should by rights belong to Salvador Dali Lama, no?).

And Tippy's pokemon avatar - three cheers!

Reynolds, click on UserCP at the top of the page, click on "Edit Options" scroll all the way to the bottom and you'll see a button called "Change Avatar." If you have a 100x100 picture or smaller on your hard drive that you want to use, you can then select it and voila.

New cool avatars today from Jesus Marion Joseph and Lazarus.

I never would have guessed it would happen, but I love avatars.

Tofu, Pete. It's a subtle allusion to a brief but hilarious exchange I had with Brian about the availability of "tofu pastrami" at Katz's.
