Glen Hall is an uncompromising visionary on whose sonic adventures he has been joined by such luminaries as Gil Evans, percussion virtuosos Nexus, trombonist Roswell Rudd, JoAnne Brackeen, Cecil McBee, Maury Coles and a host of others. Hall has studied at the Berklee School of Music and with composers Gyorgy Ligeti and Mauricio Kagel. Hall has combined forces with such formidable instrumentalists as trombonist Ray Anderson, drummer Gerry Hemmingway. bassist Dominic Duval, and saxophonist Sabir Mateen, as well as forming an on-going trio with Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Renaldo and drummer William Hooker. On this night, Glen is joined by multi-reedist Piotr Michalowski, percussionist Allison Stanley, violinist Mike Khoury and guitarist Chris Riggs.
