Roswell Rudd’s MALIcool’s first club appearance at THE JAZZ STANDARD, June 28 – 30 as part of the JVC Festival.

Performing with Rudd will be Kadialy Kouyate on kora; Balla Kouyate on balofone; Mar Gueye on djembe; Mawuena Kodjovi on guitar; Henry Schroy on bass; and Jorge Amorim on drums.

This is it a rare experience to hear this wonderful unique group, MALIcool, in the warmth and intimate space of the Jazz Standard

On June 11th, Rudd and the Mongolian Buryat Band performed at the FESTIVAL OF THE ROARING HOOVES, in Ulan Batar, Mongolia.
