Jazz Piano Prodigy Eldar's 3rd Album

Check out Eldar's new music
http://www.giantstep.net/jukebox/play/1418_9421/

Some say his hands are faster than Art Tatum's - What do you think?

Considering Art Tatum's dead, yeah, I'd give the kid the edge in terms of speed.

Putting the shill aside...I'd heard some Eldar and been impressed with his playing but not moved. Recently, though, I heard something on the radio that really grabbed me, only to find out it was him.

Hey, it's laetitia!!!

Remember her? She of Thelonius Monks new "dope artwork"!!!

God how I have missed her.

Of all the shills, she has such a knack of seeming so natural, so almost like a real person....

gosh.

I saw him recently at an Oscar Peterson tribute. He's good, but not my cuppa. In that style I prefer Adam Makowicz.

I would agree with you Peter, on this opinion.

He's a very nice young man to meet.
Very down to earth, for a kid who has been a wizard at the keys from a very early age.

I can't tell by the album photo, but if this CD is brand new, it would be #5 or #6 (5th for certain)

laetitia apparently, only pumps the projects she and/or the company she works for are involved with!!!

He's a nice guy. I talked to him recently when he stopped backstage to say hello to Fred Hersch and ask for a lesson.

Fred Hersh is a master!
