Uli, What's the Radio Station

Some time ago you mentioned a Chicago (college?) station that had a webcast that played a lot of great jazz and other interesting music, similar to but maybe even edgier than WKCR. What's the call letters or URL? I used to listen at a job, then I completely forgot about it.

WKCR = Kings College Radio, the original name of Columbia University. I guess they didn't want to call it WCUR.

Not unlike the jazz station here in the Denton/Dallas area, KNTU. The College changed it's name from North Texas University to University of North Texas but, FOR SOME REASON, kept the same call letters.

"Uli, what's the radio station?" is the new, "Kenneth, what's the frequency?"

Spotter of trends,

I posted this fascinating piece from Harpers here when it came out, speculating that Dan Rather's beating involved author Donald Barthelme:

Important notice-

WNUR and many other public radio stations streaming jazz (and other music) are in serious jeopardy if some in Congress have their way.

Please see the thread I created earlier today and act right away if you enjoy hearing music online.

Important Radio Webcast Legislation
