So what'd I miss?

I will be back on a regular basis so you can all rest a little easier now. Not sure what the pool was at but to the lucky guy who put money on 6/25/07 I say congrats.

So what's been happening? I heard a rumor Nat Catchpole has a kid, I don't see a few posters' names here (some good some bad).

Please tell me Goodie is the same.

I don't need new haircut info but I shave my head now, just so you know - you know what? give me the haircut info if it makes you feel better about the fact you have nothing new in your life. I just did and it felt great.

Are you gonna stick around for a while this time or am I gonna have to kick your ass?

Erik, you knew about Uli and I moving in together and adopting the bastard child of Fred Anderson and Ami Yoshida, right?

There was the death of jazz.

Other than that, I can't think of much new.

The White Sox swept the Red Sox in the 2005 playoffs. You might have heard about that.

You missed Rachel.

And no more full frontal nudity, unless it's an uncircumcised penis.

Scottie hasn't flamed out in at least 2-3 weeks.

But I feel one coming on ... you are just in time.

And the stillbirth of EAI, but that was before our young hero had left to begin with.

Yes, the death of jazz as we know it, and you also missed the ultimate troll dropping in - cue the ambient sounds of bassoons and loons here, please...

I fell in love with a midget named ginger, and she loved the smell of my pee. Then I made a porno with Corky from the television show Life Goes On, entitled "Going Downz." Other than that, we're all still kicking it.

Mwanji is around, I think his screenname is mke.

I don't know where Reynolds is at, he's been gone for a couple of years it seems. Sucks.

Nat and Mwanji don't post here anymore. Mwanji has become quite a good writer about the music (see http://be-jazz.blogspot.com/)

Yeah and aebly has acutally found a broad that likes jazz even less than him. amazing.

Minor Men.

(Women were present but apparently beneath notice--or off minor.)

Women are only things that, given enough quality, Wynton gets to enjoy. Don't you remember? That's what people really don't like. It's not his music or his pontifications. They're just jealous because they don't have "access" to such high-quality women. So Crouch has said. So then it must be so.

Gary, how could I forget? But I always figured that WM was gaining "access to a far higher quality of female" in his search for the LCJO's very first woman.

I think that DEEP had already been jettisoned before you showed up around here, Erik.

Steve Reynolds pops in from time-to-time, but not with the regularity we'd like.

So, what are you involved with, musically?
