Some New, Old Jazz

I was stoked to hear that some unrealsed songs of Ella Fitzgerald are going to be released soon! Its going to be called "Love Songs From Ella" and its going to be in Hi Definition audio format and it was feature collaborations with Count Basie and the London Symphony Orchestra. My friend I intern with at umg has defintiely made me appreiciate jazz music and this will definitely help me appreciate it that much more. I already bought my copy on preorder. SO many cool tracks I am excited to hear this. http://www.concordmusicgroup.com/albums/CCD-30213/

Look, it's Jen from Universal Music again!!! so glad she's back!

Jen, listen, if you're going to pretend to be a 'regular human' it's best if you don't sign your name as being at UMG.... it takes away from your credibility.

If you want to really have some credibility, just try posting as yourself, letting people know where you work, and that you want them to know about a new CD.... ya see, Jen, most people on this board are reasonably intelligent, and can tell when a poster is a poser or an actual person who loves the music.....

Just fyi.

Damn, look at the my space site.... the friends.... someone actually said "I'm a huge fan, I look forward to singing with you in heaven"

That's wrong on so many levels it's hard to know where to start talking about how wrong it is.

Most people of Ella's generation can barely check email. Pretty cool of her to be computer savvy enough to have her own myspace site. Can I be one of her friends?

I resemble that remark.

Be careful what you say, Sonny.

I just looked at your profile Clint - you're a youngster compared to Ella! She had a decade and a half on you, so that's a different generation.

Ella would have been 90 this past April. Most people her age are dead.
