Recent interview with John Abercrombie

at All About Jazz

Nice article. Some interesting comments. I've read a number of interviews with John and he always comes off very at ease, down-to-earth.

But why is it that _every_ interviewer feels compeled to say JA is not as famous as Sco, Metheny, etc. It never fails. So what? It just doesn't need saying. I think Kenny Wheeler has suffered the same useless comparison.
