A User Named Buddha

I got a couple of complaints that a user named buddha has been PMing some of you. I PMd him and he didn't respond. He is now banned. If you get any unsolicited PMs esp with links, pls let me know

Peace and light

No PMs and no problems, Lois, but I have to say that the person's choice of a screen name is - shall we say - somewhat inappropriate.

I received a pm also. A good thing in a way, I had forgotten the url of this site. My previous computer's hard drive fried, so I lost a lot of stuff.

Looking forward to hanging around a bit!

Hey Lois,

He never PM'd me, but since you're here, I have some great stock and investment tips, and am a great source for inexpensive cell phones and computer parts.
I can email you a link if you need one.

I also got a pm from Buddha. It was dated Sept 1, but I just got around to signing on, so maybe the problem has been solved by now.
Do you want anything else about this?

I got something from them, with a link to more information about the religion, and a list of sayings (although I must admit, I did kind of like many of them).

Lots of religious chain letters are loaded with spyware, virus's and no telling what else, or so they tell me. I kept asking my sister and other people I'm in touch with to stop sending me chain mail, however, someone is forever doing it. Then there's the self improvement articles and how to think of, and treat others, which are the most boring and syrupy things out there. I quit opening them.

yep I got the PM

as follows

Hello,
I'm new here and just wanted to say "hi"

How's it going?

"Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural & spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things as a meaningful unity" - Albert Einstein

buddha

I removed the Url from his PM but it was only to list of other links.
