Ask Dean Martin

So, Deano, what was your favorite song?

Mine's "That's Amore!"

So, Deano, when did you guys let Peter Lawford into the Rat Pack?

AFTER JFK won the election? or during the election?

So, Deano, tell us the real story of you and Jerry.

P.S. My favorite is "Sailor Beware"

So, Deano, why does Rollhead start so many idiotic threads that are pretty much just conversations with himself?

Probably because your critiques of them are so insightful and entertaining.

I once played blackjack at the Sands with Dean dealing. He busted every time. They only let him deal for a little while. I wonder why.

Deano, you don't have to answer that. I think that question is better left for a medical professional.

Dino, man. Cat was Italian, not a Howard Dean fan club member.

Everybody falls in love somehow.

I've always loved that melody. Still do. I like to sing it, just for the fun of the melody.

Wish I could find a repro, but I have a fond memory of a Don Martin sequence of a guy in front of his bathroom mirror, apparently trying to organize his mustache which, no matter what he does, keeps sproinging out into an untamed nest of bristles. Finally, in the last frame, he exclaims, "Damn nose hairs! Bitch to train 'em!"

Dean Dean Martin,

Why did Americans, as they became wealthier, start having fewer children? What's up with that?

blame it on the death of the station wagon as we knew it.

I grew up with a station wagon. It was awesome for kids. You could fight with eachother in the way back or sleep or snack or raise what other hell. We had a wood panel white Ford Grand Torino that my dad gave up his Mustang for when my brother was born. [A bit frustrated that I can't find a good image of the car we had.]

In my yout', I had a very snazzy Studebaker Golden Hawk, a generally bitchin' car and a babe magnet.

Got married and then had kids, next thing I know, here's that big Dodge Station Wagon.

Damn.

My mom gave up her mustang too. I think they sold it outright to downsize to one vehicle.

I'd love me a '57 Nomad.

Dear Dean Martin,

What is the difference in Ethyl and Isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Are they to be used for different purposes?

Thanks,

Ok, Mr. Martin,

Why do I work with more than one Dean?

Dear Mr. Martin,

Are the school age kids of today familiar with the Schoolhouse Rock videos of yesteryear or are these gems no longer broadcast anywhere?

Thanks,
Tippy
