Jazz Corner artist CDs

Just a reminder that almost all CDs from Jazz Corner artists (exceptions being Steeplechase for Dave Stryker and Billy Harper ) are now $16 including postage and handling and autographed and the artists get $13 and $1 goes to the Jazz Musicians Emergency Fund

It a win-win situation - you contribute to the musicians directly for their recordings and musicians in need.

you can go to anyone's individual sites - usually their recordings page and the actual list is on a secure site

Lois,

Is it correct to assume that if the "Jazz Cares" button does not appear you can't purchase the album? (I was looking at the Billy Harper recordings.)

Reid -- No, it's not a good assumption. I found out after I'd made the same one. If you click on any jazzcares buy link, you get a list of all the artists' recordings, including the ones that don't have a link on their website., like Ben Allison, for example.

I'm adding my two cents: I recently bought four this way and have been very well pleased. It's cool to get a signed CD right from the musicians, direct, and know that most of the bread'd ending up in their pockets. I'll be buying more that way on next month's budget.

Check it out. There are a lot of great artists and recordings available here at JC.
