The new banner ads
Do they somehow read the contents of the page and adjust to it? The regular advertisement of "www.speecheasy.com", getting cancer ads when on the Mnytime thread, J.Lo ads when on the Jennifer Lopez thread, etc. makes me wonder.

I'm not getting those ads, maybe my pop-up stopper is stopping them.
But, if it helps support this board, I can live with them, stopped or not.

Funnily enough, I'm getting stuttering ads after Uli mentioned stuttering.
Isn't it Google ads? I guess it searches the page for references, then finds something to advertise, could be fun.

Which might explain why a site called "SpeechEasy" would be advertised on one with the heading "SpeakEasy." Just a guess.

The only Ads I'm seeing are the ones at the top of this page...my Pop-up Stopper is stopping the rest, too.
My only complaint is that banner selling those insipid AH-nold t-shirts...now what is that all about?
sheesh.

I for one was happy to have the opportunity to order j lo's astrological chart...it would not have occurred to me to seek this invaluable tool on my own. I was right to reserve any ill judgement of her for her kind booty and many marriages were written in the stars.

I may have to order the LifeSize GW Bush cut out. Laugh riot at a party.

And they do support the board, they fit well with the page layout, no flash and action. These must be google's text ads. Good idea really. They of course wouldn't go over well on high graphic sites.
