Jazz Album collection for sale

I have a collection of Jazz albums for sale. There are 660 of them. They are in excellent condition. The albums belonged to my uncle who began collecting them in the 1950's. My Uncle was a great fan of all kinds of Jazz. He went to New Orleans ones or twice a year to listen to Jazz and buy albums.
My uncle was a life-long bachelor. Our family knew that these albums were like his "Chlidren". When we would visit his apartment he would always bring out his newest Jazz album and play it for us. And, during the holidays when he would come to our house, he would have the latest album(s) under his arm when he walked in the door.
Although I listened to many of the albums for years, I no longer do. Now it's time for the right person to take them off my hands. I have researched the albums in Goldmine Music Publications and have a general idea of the worth of the collection. I am not interested in selling a few artists or single albums at a time. I want to sell the entire collection at once. As such, I would invite offers. If you are interested, fell free to contact me here at Jazzcorners Speakeasy. I have catologed the entire collection by Artist, serial number, etc. Unfortunatly, probably because the list is 13 pages long, I can't attach it to this message. If you are interested I can attached it to a regular e-mail and send it on to you

Thank You,
Jim Smith

Jim,

If you could give us a ballpark figure of what you might accept, you may attract more interest.

FWIW....

If you ask around at used music stores, they often have or know guys who buy whole collections.

Great suggestion, Gary, I think.
Because this is a jazz site, of course it's logical that there would be interest in records from the era that Smitty57 mentions.
But, I suspect that many of us who collect vinyl would be concerned that we would be duplicating much of our own library.
So, it might be problematic for us to be offered all or nothing, even at a very good price.
A used music store, however, would not have that concern, since collectors at all stages of building their libraries would frequent their store.
