I'm glad someone mentioned this, because it brought back an old memory I had completely forgotten about. I always thought my father was pulling my leg, but when I was about 5 years old, he came home from the office one day and said he was taking me to dinner to celebrate Left-Hander's Day. So, he and I went together and got some extra-crispy chicken at KFC (a personal favorite when I was a kid) while my four right-handed siblings stayed at home.

I'm neither a "lefty" nor ambidextrous, but I do some reasonably good things with my left hand. One of them is playing drums. Another is to catch baseballs. I also reel my fly reel with my left hand. Some "important" things, however, I do better with my right hand, to be perfectly honest. ;-)

When eating, I hold my knife in my left hand.

That's 'cos the sign is so heavy - has to use his stronger hand to hold it up.

Or something.

Nice site, less cutesy than the left handers day one (I hate all this "left handers are the only people in their right minds!!!" rubbish) but I've never heard of any of these:

"The English have a particular flair for describing left-handedness, and therefore deserve their own section:

back-handed
bang-handed
clickey-handed
coochy-handed
cow-pawed
dollock-handed
gammy-handed
kay-fisted
Kerr-handed
kitty-wesy
scoochy-handed
scrammy
skiffle-handed
skivvy-handed
watty-handed "

back-handed, yes, as in a back-handed compliment, but that's nothing to do with being left handed.

kitty-wesy? what the hell is that? I thought I was cool until I just now heard the news about Ned Flanders. Oh well, he does have a great ass.
