DUBBya action figure toy ???

Okay ..this is a new low ..

When I saw this ad last night on TV while fixing dinner, I almost dropped a perfectly wonderful tumbler of single malt over ice in complete disbelief ..

They're now selling a ..hold on .. "George W Action figuretoy ..DRESSED IN A FLIGHT SUIT ..(and I quote the ad) " just like the one our commander in chief wore DURING HIS HEROIC LANDING on the carrier whatever during the recent Iraq conflict "..

the ad goes on to flog DUBByas "heroic service" in the Navey reserve during his younger days ..( I assume this refers to all those Air Natl. Guard duties we all knew he blew off earlier in his "heroic" existence ...)

The only thing missing is an action figure of Poppy buying off the Supreme court to get Twit the Younger elected in the first place ..

this is truly a new low in capitalistic opportunism ..and I smell Karl Rove somewhere in the vicinity of this dispicable project ..

$39.95 ( plus S&H ) ..be the first one on your block to buy one .. and stomp it to bits!!

Pardon me, I've made myself ill ..I'm gonna go projectile vomit now..

Ingenius marketing: hitting all fronts by increasing popularity through kids! I cringed this morning when I heard this.

Yeah, but can it dress itself or does it have to have help from mommie?

What was the deal on all those leather straps on the lower torso, when Bush "heroically" landed on the aircraft carrier, spoiling the hang of his custom-tailored flightsuit??
I notice that the eyes on the action figure are not as close together as, unfortunately, Bush's are.
If there's an action figure of Alfred E. Neuman, in mothballs somewhere, they could have recycled those, just putting a flight suit on them.

Patricia:

as for the straps, Brian covered that quite well in post#6 ..

as for the eyes ...well . why is it every time I look at DUBByas simpering visage, I hear distant banjo music??

( ..awaiting Ashcroft, Cheney, and Rumsfeld to flop me over the canoe and tear down my drawers and do to me what they've been doing to the rest of the country ..)
