You name it, that's me. Too many to list. Too optomistic about just about everything. While at the same time, I can be really short tempered. Too sentimental. Get too involved with strangers, never knew one, which isn't always a safe way to be. Really, some pretty strange "surreal" stuff has gone on because of this trait. Too revealing, that's a bad flaw; there are very few secrets; too much of an open book. When crossed, I won't even go into that, as it can get a bit strange at times. I never believe the worst of people, I like to find out about people for myself, even when I've been warned off, when too many times, in the end it turns out that I should have listened to the warnings. This has oftentimes been the case, but I'd rather not be a total cynic.

I don't multitask well. When I have many things to do in the same period, I become paralyzed over how to prioritize them.

For a few moments on a Thursday in March 1983, I fell a little bit short of perfection.

Like Hillary Clinton, I might have made a mistake, in 1972, I think it was.

I can't go to my left on a ground ball, my high C is non-existent, I once was unable to climb Kilimanjaro.

That's about it.

At my folks' 50th anniversary party, My brother said of my mother that she's a saint, living with my father for 50 years. Then he added, Of course it isn't easy to live with a saint.

Due to repeated, untreated ear-infections [people didn't go to the doctor unless they were sick], my equalibriam is almost shot. Embarrassing that my daughters grab my elbow when we walk up or downhill.

Then don't blow your nose.

Really, it only compounds the problem.

- complete lack of ambition
- lazy
- cluttered
- physically weak
- nailbiter
- unsympathetic on an interpersonal level
- I would list 'excessively pedantic' if I cared what anybody else thought
- if a discussion could be taken seriously, I will treat it too seriously

I guess it comes down to whether I want to be known as the one who has the constantly drippy proboscus, or the one who falls down all the time.

That's not a shortcoming, that's a handicap. I think a shortcoming is something that's your fault.

Poor spelling, however, as in "equalibriam", is a shortcoming. ;-)

You're right. Poor spelling is a shortcoming.
But, people sometimes mistake my poor balance for a result of advanced alcoholism, which would be considered a fault.
Since that's not true, I guess I'm perfect, except for my charmingly eccentric spelling.

It looks wild enough without that!

On a more serious note, I find, in my impending dotage, that my patience level for just about anything not all the way smooth sailing is too low to measure. A good thing I only rarely have to leave our hill, and then for only the simplest transactions. The bad thing is that we're going to have to leave our hill ...
