Why is it so slow?

I've been having trouble opening various threads the last couple of days. They are taking forever to load and sometimes they don't even load.

Is there a change?

I've noticed, too. Sometimes it just seems to go into freefall when you hit the reply button. Nothing happens. Just the hourglass.

I've noticed periodic lags, too. In fact, loading this thread was painfully slow.

I know that it's not my internet connection. I think I'll send Lois an e-mail and see if there's some maintenance going on or something else causing the slowdown.

We're working on it. I talked to Doc yesterday and tonight. Trying to discern actually what the problem is... or was... it seems better now

5 posts or more for one post? I kept hitting refresh and I guess each time, the post would be posted again, this after I had hit the submit, because nothing would come up, or when I would hit the post quick reply, can't recall if I was posting in the "Advanced", or the "Post Quick Reply". I just know it was out of wack.
