The association CABLE# (not for profit-all volunteer) has been organising events in Nantes (west france) of all things film and sound experimental, mental, acoustic, electronic, improv, noise, trash chansons, film, extreme minimalism, electroacoustic, free rock, installations, performance blah blah since 2004.
Our asso is made up of mainly artists working with sound and visuals. Our program is not fixed on any one 'genre' or 'style' or 'approach' of experimental music. Quite simply, over the years we have organised concerts for the things we find interesting and (more often than not) for people who don't play a lot in France.
For the first time CABLE# will organise a festival accross three days in Febuary 2008 ...

Jean-Louis Costes (FR) - legendary performance artist will make the girls cry with his chanson trash
Andy Moor (NL) - guitarist of THE EX, solo style
Pumice (NZ) - one man band gone wrong, very wrong indeed
Noël Akchoté (AT/FR) - unclassable guitarist plays kylie?
Dieb13 (AT) - turntable improv with occaisonal madonna thrown in for good luck
Michael Vorfeld (ALL) - percussionist extraordinaire turns in a light and sound show
L'échelle de Mohs (Claire Bergerault, Fabrice Favriou, Thomas Tilly) - (FR) - fantastic free rock/impro/noise band from Poitiers
Pylone - (Julien Ottavi, Will Guthrie, Erell Latimier) - (FR/AUS) - brutal marseille rap meets drums on speed and lower than low-fi tapes
