Holy shit! I never knew there were so many superheroes. I glanced quickly at the list and didn't see any atheists so I guess my answer would be "none".

There's an atheist link buried in among the religion list. I never knew that the character variously called Ant Man/Giant Man/Goliath etc. (from the Avengers) was an atheist. Go, Hank Pym!

Lethargic Lad doesn't appear in the list and that's a shame!

When me and Mystique get married, religion won't get in our way. Hopefully my requests for her to morph into different women on a nightly basis won't either.

The list is flawed.
I KNOW Superman is Jewish. Not only is the name Jewish (correctly pronounced "Supermin") , but "Krypton" is a code word for the Krakow Jewish Ghetto. Red Kryptonite is Manishewitz and Smallville is Vatican City.

So King Arthur is a devout of "environmentalism," Matzohgirl is Jewish (no way!), and Baron Zemo belongs to the "Nazi" tradition. I smell a conference paper . . .

I don't know, I think Dr. Druid is a Druid in spite of his brief dalliance with Tibetan Buddhism.

Lex Luthor: Episcopalian (lapsed); Nietzschean atheist
Lex is not really "superhero" but he did manage to do pretty well for himself when pitted against that smug, self-righteous bastard Superman.
The early Spiderman, by co-creator Steve Ditko, is also rumored to have been an atheist, but I really don't know.

I know that The Thing is Jewish cause he was outed in an issue of FF several years ago. Apparently, Jack Kirby kept a drawing at his desk that he did of The Thing wearing a tallit and kipah, so I guess it was always intended that he be Jewish (which is good, considering how difficult it would be too circumcise him once he got that orange rock skin).
I also dug Dr. Strange, who seems a little outside the organized religion thing.

Dr. Druid gets his mysterious powers from Tibetan mysticism. He's not actually a druid at all. In early issues of Amazing Fantasy, issues predating the appearance of Spiderman in that magazine, the doctor is introduced as a character called Dr Droom. He had a fair run in those pages under that name, but eventually the massive success of Spiderman led to the minor character Droom being ignored and discontinued. When Droom was revived years later, Marvel started calling him Dr Druid--perhaps to avoid confusion with the main FF villain, Dr Doom. And also maybe because Droom is such a stupid name.

I think that's the case. He had a Randian, atheist hero called Mr. A, iirc.

Yeah, I've already admitted the dalliance in his (ill-spent)youth. But he eventually returns to his Celtic, Druidical roots.

There's Marvel's Son-of-Satan. He's aptly named.

Wasn't he adopted? (If so, the adoption parental screening process was arguably flawed.)

Satan, Shmatan. If his mother was Jewish, he's Jewish.

Fair enough. Although I don't think he's particularly observant. (Even less than Superman)
PS. Love " Satan, Shmatan."

The Catholics and Jews could have an awesome battle between them. Marvel should make this happen. Religious war!
