The Pats are currently 14-point favorites in Vegas. The Giants will be lucky to lose by less than that.

Regardless of which team wins, the headline the next day will read "Giant Killer".

Am not doing the poll for fear of jinxing.

The third and fourth choice should be the promoters and the one worlders.
If either team wins they win and you loose.
Bread and circuses.

I finally voted Giants because the guys here vote Pats. It puts a little challenge in the house. I do that every year.

OK, anyway ... the Pats are the pick, even if I'm pulling for the Giants.

Asking who's going to win the game seems a little silly, no?

Shouldn't we have a poll for the greatest team of all time (Rob says this desperately hoping this will jinx the Pats!?!?!?!)

Cheers,

Rob

Even more kudos for not doing either a wardrobe malfunction or songs that required censorship by the network.

We came home early so we can go hear Janes Singleton's 3Now4 with Tim Green and got an early Mardi Gras.

Congrats to hometown boy Eli!!

Regardless of that fact, it's always great to witness an underdog break down the opposing team like a cheap pup tent.

Cry in your chowder bitches.

as Kermit Ruffin's always asks "What is New Orleans?"

New Orleans is having two Super Bowl champion quarterbacks.

Simply the best Super Bowl game ever. In the same league as "The Giants win the pennant, the Giants win the pennant" and "Havilcek stole the ball".
Now.. it's on to March Madness!

lately, and I only am half-ass into football(partly due to that Monday Night win the Saints had over the Falcons in the reopening of the Superdome game), I've watched teams for certain players.

Maurice Jones-Drew comes to mind.....

BTW, did those commentators actually believe that the Giants, down four, might have (or should have) punted with about a minute to go if they didn't get that first down on their own 30? Just because they still had their time outs?

Are they pod people?

Hm.

I can go with "The Giants win the pennant....and they're going crazy!" Maybe even the Diamondbacks over the Yankees World Series.

But the greatest Super Bowl game has to be the SF 49ers vs the Cincy Bengals when Montana orchestrated The Drive with less than three minutes left to win the game. It also included the greatest goal line stand in Super Bowl history.

not sure of the other circumstances involved in that match, but somehow I doubt that a destiny was desecrated.

I'm with you, Lenny.

I'm much more of a baseball fan than football fan, but I always watch the Super Bowl. I don't always enjoy the Super Bowl, however. That all changed today.

What a game! What an exciting, gut-wrenching-to-the-last-seconds game.

The New York Giants simply outplayed the New England Patriots ... on both sides of the ball. Their defense and final 83 yard drive were especially impressive.

However, I was not impressed with Bill Belichick's post-game interview, in which he acted like a spoiled jerk and gave absolutely no credit whatsoever to the Giants.

Congratulations to the team no one (except them and their fans) thought could win Super Bowl XLII ... the New York Giants!
