This one and Rum Sodomy and the Lash are at the top of my list. One of the most memorable nights of my life was pub-hopping (or more literally crawling by the end it) in Temple Bar area of Dublin, my wife and I trying to teach Pogues songs to some of her conference colleagues. It was a motley and pathetic bunch of drunken Canadians, Aussies, Swedes, and Finns (maybe a dozen in total, all but me being library science professors!), and I doubt if we had more than about every third word right, but no one seemed to care, or even know, if we had the right lyrics. I seriously doubt that more than 3 of us even knew who the Pogues were, but we were doing a pretty good job of entertaining the locals who kept buying us drinks. I remember a particularly good version of Sally MacLennane and then things all went to hell...
