Frank D'Rone's new CD - fabulous !!

Though Frank is better than ever, this one was recorded in a club in Chicago in 1983. Mixed/mastered in 2007 after finding in vault. He was and still is at the top of his game.

We are fortunate to have this material. Delivers up-tempp and ballads exquisitely. And I have never heard any other jazz singer who can scat and play at same time in either unison or harmony with his scatting. Incredible.
He sang this past weekend. There was a love affair between the audience and Frank. So the tunes on this new album (available at www.frankdarone.com) made the show. He is better than ever. And BTW The liner notes were written by Tony Bennett. And for you recording guys out there the mics were AKG C24, 414s 451s etc. It was magic !!!!

The album is entitled FALLING IN LOVE WITH LOVE. Franks sings with a fantastic jazz trio. Here are the tunes:

Falling in Love with Love
A Time for Love
It Could Happen to You
But Beautiful
The way You Look Tonight
Here's That Rainy Day
Hello Young Lovers
Breakin' Up Is Hard to Do
Day In, Day Out
Autumn in New York
Like Someone In Love
For All We Know
It's You Or No One
The More I See You (The More I Love You)
I Love You
