The pictures are fascinating........even if I was expecting pics of partying women lifting their burkas for the camera.

Dammit, can't access it in work. Are they photos of the man made Palm Island and World Islands by chance? Those projects are off the hook.

They are that and much more, James.

If I have time later, I'll post some of the pics here.

Yeah, man. Some wild shots of the naked tops of women's feet. That'd be something.

A while back I saw a program about the building of this hotel in Dubai. Crazy!

My wife has been invited to teach some workshops in Dubai for a few weeks this summer, but isn't sure if she has time. Or if she really wants to go there in July, given the heat and how she would have to dress. If she goes, I'll have to figure out how to scrounge up the $$$ and vacation time to tag along, because these pics really intrigue me.

Of course, she isn't sure they know she's a she...the offer was to Dr. G, but then references in the letter to Mr...not sure if they would still want her when they find out...

I'm impressed with some of the technology but not with what they're doing where they're doing it. If you have enough financial resources it doesn't matter what kind of adverse environmental impact it might have ... build the sucker.

They've had to make some design changes with the latest development to create proper water flow arround the islands so that it doesn't become stagnant, kill things and stink.
