Dubbya's Presidential Library
A good friend sent me this today. Thought you would enjoy it.
The George W. Bush Presidential Library
The George W Bush Presidential Library is now in the planning stages. You'll want to be the first at your corporation to make a contribution to this great man's legacy. The Library will include:
1. The Hurricane Katrina Room, which is still under construction.
2. The Alberto Gonzales Room, where you can't remember anything.
3. The Texas Air National Guard Room, where you don't have to even show up.
4. The Walter Reed Hospital Room, where they don't let you in.
5. The Guantanamo Bay Room, where they don't let you out.
6. The Weapons of Mass Destruction Room (which no one has been able to find).
7. The Iraq War Room. After you complete your first tour, they make you go back for a second, third, fourth, and sometimes fifth tour.
8. The Dick Cheney Room, in the famous undisclosed location, complete with shooting gallery.
Plans also include:
9. The K-Street Project Gift Shop, where you can buy (or just steal) an election.
10. The Airport Men's Room, where you can meet some of your favorite Republican senators.
11. Last, but not least, there will be an entire floor devoted to a 7/8-scale model of the President's ego.
To highlight the President's accomplishments, the museum will have an electron microscope to help you locate them

They'll need a shelving assistant to make sure the spines are upside down.

It will have an aviary, though, I'm told, 'cause Junior likes trees.

A Nike box should be more than enough to contain the half dozen or so books that Bush read in the last eight years.
"The Stranger," "The Pet Goat" and the "three Shakespears" may be a tight squeeze, but not to the point that a second box will be needed.
If they go for shelves, there should be lots of room for his beer mugs and other keepsakes.

I read something like this, I think Bush should be impeached for turning the presidency into a laughingstock. Christ, even Nixon looks legit next to this idiot.

I heard they were going to set it up with three or four favorite childhood books and so it looks just like the room where the nice lady used to read to him, in high school.

I don't know, Bruce. That's a little advanced, don't you think?
He's got to walk before he can run.

Actually I am so fond of that book that I thought it was an insult to post it here.
Can you snag him in a park
Can you snag him in the dark
Can you torture on a train
Can you torture in the rain
Can you put him in a box
Sure you can and add a fox
We can shock him here or there
The CIA can take him anywhere
I do not like Free Press or Spam
I do not like them Sam I Am

If he believes the promotional notes, you're in trouble.
Oh, just a second..........................you're already in trouble.
Nevermind.

I don't know if Dubbya is ready for a change of direction yet, but my girls really enjoyed the Berenstein Bears series of books. Each one taught a lesson about social interaction, courtesy, cooperation, sharing, respect for others etc. It may be too late for him though.
"The Pet Goat" does leave some areas unexplored.

Richard Scarry's books are treasures, Dave! Our kids and grandkids have all embraced them and worn them out.
And, as with Dr. Seuss's books, they're as much fun for adults as kids. They're timeless and hip.

You guys are really piling on. This library will put SMU on the map. And not only will it be a library, it'll be a think tank that will promote Dubyaism centuries into the future where newer generations will be more concerned about the sun going super nova (The Tug McGraw Theory of Relativity) than all the BS going on now.

If that happens, you'll know that you've died and gone to Hell.
