AUM Fidelity is pleased to announce it has secured the services of
Improvised Communications to promote its 2008 releases to press and radio. In addition to three new recordings (from Roy Campbell, Bill Dixon and William Parker, respectively) being released in partnership with
Arts for Arts, Inc., this collaboration will also include the promotion of forthcoming CDs by the William Parker Quartet, the new David S. Ware group and pianist Eri Yamamoto.
For more than a decade, AUM Fidelity has documented artists working at the vanguard of the jazz and improvised music scene in New York and beyond. Guided by its founder, producer and designer Steven Joerg, the label has built a highly regarded
catalog of more than 35 releases, chronicling premier works by Rob Brown, Roy Campbell, Daniel Carter, Whit Dickey, Hamid Drake, Kidd Jordan, Mat Maneri, Joe Morris, Roy Nathanson, William Parker and David S. Ware, as well as such notable all-star groups as In Order To Survive, The Little Huey Creative Music Orchestra, The Nommonsemble, Other Dimensions in Music, Test, Triptych Myth and the David S. Ware Quartet. AUM Fidelity is also a partner in the
CaseQuarter label, which is devoted to sacred and spiritual music of the southern U.S.
