The American Pianists Association (APA) announced John Legend has replaced Aretha Franklin as the headliner as well as the performance schedule and complete artist line-up for the Kroger Indy Jazz Fest presented by Coca-Cola. Three days of live music and good food will make the Kroger Indy Jazz Fest presented by Coca-Cola perfect for Fathers Day weekend June 13 15 at Military Park downtown Indianapolis.
Tickets go on sale March 28 at all central Indianapolis Kroger locations, online at
www.indyjazzfest.net or for group tickets and information call 317-940-8198. Tickets can also be purchased at Military Park the day of the event (cash only). Children 14 and under enter the festival free when accompanied by a ticket holding adult.

The American Pianists Association (APA) is an organization with local, national and international impact. In addition to worldwide performance opportunities the APA offers its jazz and classical Fellows, the organization has a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for members of the community. Through its educational outreach program, Concerto Curriculum, the APA provides free concerts and workshops for underserved youth, seniors and community members. APA Fellows have engaged with 13 high schools in the metropolitan area, nine of the 14 Community Centers and retirement centers in all areas of the city. In 2007, the APA presented eleven of these free programs, reaching over 1,200 individuals who may not have otherwise had access to the arts.
The American Pianists Association receives support from the City of Indianapolis through the Arts Council of Indianapolis, the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation, the Lilly Endowment, Christel DeHaan Family Foundation the Indiana General Assembly through the Indiana Arts Commission and the U.S. Congress through the National Endowment for the Arts, among others.
