Incredible film by Tao Ruspoli

This is the best film i have ever seen about flamenco. Ruspoli is going to be the second coming of Ry Cooder. This film is complete but in 10 parts because of time and space limitations on YOUTUBE.

Tomas -- I'm going to check this one out when the current schedule winds down. But have you ever seen the film "Flamenco" by Carlos Saura? I really loved that one, and am curious to know what you thought of it.

Sorry about the delay Steve. Yes I have a copy of "Flamenco" and it is an excellent film I watch it fairly regularly. I don't know about the foreign copies but the Spaish (PAL version) domestic one comes with a booklet. Saura wa here in Chicago about two years ago and I saw it on wide screen long with his very interesting talk on film in general.

Ruspoli's approach is a little different so both films gave equal value, it's hard to explain but when you see the Ruspoli fim you'll see what I mean. This film is in between "Flamenco", which is a documentary without commentary and " Buena Vista Social Club". I much prefer the humbleness of Ruspoli to the attitude of Ry Cooder. I am taking more about film than about music. I can see that all of these films have great value musically.
