Private Message mailbox limit

I don't get or send a ton or PMs by any stretch of the imagination, but over the last few years, I've had some sidebar communications with certain people that I value because certain sentiments were shared that are important to me. Unfortunately, I'm at a point where if I get or reply to an additional PM, I'm at my limit and have to decide which ones to delete. I'd really like to keep them all. Is there any way to save them or can the mailbox limit be increased?

I say print out the ones you want and let the rest go. And don't worry--if any of us ever said something truly wonderful, we're bound to say something very close to it eventually.

No, you can save them all for download. You check what you want to save, then at the bottom, there's a pulldown menu with some save-as options like TEXT or CSV. Then you can save that file, and delete to make more room.

As my friends like to say: IOTWANOIC: If Only There Were A Network Of Interconnected Computers...

CSV = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma-separated_values

Where do they say such things? Trekkie conventions?

Close enough, a private chatroom of friends who would have fun at one, tho I'm pretty sure none have been.

The messages with sentiments should be the first to go.

It's driving me freaking nuts. Is there any way we can have more room in our pm boxes, like maybe if we got rid of some extra posters - you know the ones not doing anything who came once and then left - we could incorporate two or three of those into my pm space?

Do you delete your outgoing messages?

yeah I do those first. Anyway...what if we got rid of that "Conversation Between ______________ and ______________" on the profile page and made more space that way. I don't even know what that Conversation feature is for. Very strange.
