• On June 13-15, the city hosts the Art Tatum Jazz Festival, honoring the jazz musician with an outdoor program featuring some of the best musicians in the world, performing a wide variety of jazz and blues.
Headliners include Ellis Marsalis, guitarist/vocalist Steve Oliver, Canadian vocalist Carol Welsman and saxophonist Joseph Vincelli.
It will held in Promenade Park in downtown Toledo. Once again the Chrysler Foundation will be the lead sponsor.
Hours: 5-10:30 p.m. June 13; 4-11:30 p.m. June 14; and 4-10:30 p.m. June 15
Admission: $10, Friday; $25 Saturday; $25 Sunday; $40 for Saturday and Sunday. VIP passes available.
