Hell is...

Getting stuck long term in a Queens hair salon where they are playing gay dance music.

Even worse, when the person whom you trust with your hair leaves the highlighter on too long. I look like a lighthouse. This is, like, so embarrassing.

Anyway, feel free to share your hells and hairstyle accidents.

AP June 16, 2008...Several major vehicular accidents occurred Monday morning on 42nd St. between 2nd and 3rd Avenues resulting in multiple serious injuries. Several of the victims reported being blinded by an intense glare emanating from a building above them. The light was so strong that it was apparently reflected between buildings on the block, leaving investigators unsure as to its exact source.

Having to attend my son's 6th grade graduation ceremony this evening. Admittedly, I live in rural VT, but aren't we setting the bar a tad low for these kids?

Hell is too many things to list. For now, I'd say the closest is being in a roomful of relatives of all ages, experiencing them them having the time of their lives watching "Wowowee", a filipino game show aimed at the mental capacity of a three-year old.

Good point. This way everyone gets a chance at experiencing graduation but at what cost?

oh puhleeze - this is what's going to happen: Sonic Youth is going to end up showing up at Jazzy M's house to play a private concert whereby Liz will be hired to play on their summer tour while she's not in school and then Kim and Mary will get out in the neighborhood for mani/pedis and female bonding. RHCP get B-listed.

There's not a chance in hell that Mary can't pull off Sonic Youth tickets. I mean all of this in a very good way.

This new notifications thingie at the top of the page informs me that I have "0 incoming friend requests" and "0 invitations to join social groups" whereas before it just let me know whether I had private messages. Now I feel like a big Loser - thanks, thanks a lot.

I have to admit to having gotten sucked into that show before. I still haven't seen anyone win a million dollars. What happened to that statistics game show with Drew Carey? Power of Dix...

I don't even have this alleged "new notifications thingie".

So, you're already in far better shape than I.

oh wow, and you can check and compare all your previous versions of a post when you edit your posts. Wowowee. I wonder if I can do the same to other people. Maybe I have special authorities again. Somebody up there likes me, it is true, for all my whining.

Tip, you are the funniest! Sadly, it's looking like the Sonic Youth tickets may be beyond JM's capacity, which is just a shame in so many ways.

2. We don't have a marketing team here. Besides, my work doesn't love me the way the jazz folks do. I'm not JM here. Who am I? Beats me.

No, recruiting or anything to bring talent to the place?

You know that river to river concert is free it says. So how were they selling them online? They are playing in conjunction with the Macy's fireworks so shouldn't it be first come first serve type of arrangement?

Wowowee is just the nicest name ever - it's like the sound a train whistle makes but gentler, easier...

Wowowee, wowowee
like the crying of a night owl
wowowee, wowowee
like the mourning dove does say to me
wowowee, wowowee
like Brian O's extended familee
wowowee, wowowee,
wowowee, wowowee,
wowowee, wowowee,
wowowee-ee-ee
