Saturday, Sept. 27

Twenty of the city’s most creative jazz artists will be on hand to talk with fans about their music and the scene when JazzBoston makes its third appearance at the Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival on Saturday, Sept. 27, from noon to 6 p.m. Look for the JazzBoston tent and its “Meet Boston’s Musicians” table where these artists are scheduled to appear: Leonard Brown, Dave Bryant, Terri Lyne Carrington, Jorrit Dijkstra, Garrison Fewell, Ken Field, Ron Gill, Kevin Harris, Eric Hofbauer, Hiro Honshuku, Bill Lowe, Maxim Lubarsky, Carmen Marsico, Myanna, Bruno Raberg, Diane Richardson, Larry Roland, Oscar Stagnaro, Elan Trotman, and Patrice Williamson.

The musicians on this year’s roster represent every part of the city’s diverse jazz scene,” says Pauline Bilsky, JazzBoston’s Executive Director. “You just have to listen to their music to understand why Boston is one of the world’s great jazz cities.”

JazzBoston thanks the Berklee College of Music for this opportunity to get the word out about Boston’s diverse and thriving jazz scene. For more information about JazzBoston at BeanTown and a schedule of artists’ appearances, visit www.jazzboston.org or go to the festival website, www.beantownjazzfestival.org. The free outdoor festival takes place on Columbus Ave. between Mass. Ave. and Burke St.
