Celebrating 11 years of a phenomenal jazz concerts! This one-night concert the New York Times hails as New Jersey’s “premier jazz festival” will be held at the South Orange Middle School. This years Jazz Master Honoree is Grammy Award winner Slide Hampton, an internationally renowned trombonist, composer and arranger who will perform with a host of other phenomenal jazz musicians. Past recipients include such renowned musicians as Jimmy Heath, James Moody, Clark Terry, Frank Wess, Benny Powell, Dr. Billy Taylor, and Frank Foster. .
