Any budding jazz writers out there?

This isn't a thread, just a request to find out whether there is anyone out there who feels that they could contribute an interesting article of, say, 5000 words on any jazz subject that they choose. This will be for a new book on jazz that will comprise articles, interviews with musicians and photographs. The articles could be historical in nature or whatever you feel should be recorded between hard covers for the future jazz community. I am also seeking hitherto unpublished jazz photographs especially of important provincial musicians who never found fame in Chicago or New York yet who made a worthwhile contribution in their own locale. I am especially interested to know if anyone knows any elderly jazz musicians whose story should be told. Please contact me on my direct e-mail, desertrunna@gmail.com. Thanks,
Peter Campbell.

I don't know if I apsire to anything save for peace of mind

but if you search the web and are involved in the on-line community, there are many very gifted writers about jazz and related musics

good luck!!
