I have arrived!!!

I received this email after sending out JazzCorner's November Newsletter:

-----Original Message-----
From: Ann Coulter (email address removed)

Subject: (no subject)

I would like to be removed from your e-mail list immediately. I do not now or will ever celebrate the election of Obama. Please do not ever contact me again.

Here was my response:

From: Lois Gilbert
Subject: RE: (no subject)
To: "'Ann Coulter'"

Dear Ann

I'm sorry you feel this way. I certainly can understand how dismayed you must feel that our country's leadership is not in the hands of someone who thinks Africa is a country. I would like to thank you personally for abetting Sarah Palin's nomination

Is Coulter a jazz fan?

(And yes, I know that rightwing jazz fans do exist...in fact, I'm friends with several such folk. But I'd still be surprised to learn that Coulter's one.)

Being singled out and rejected by Ann Coulter should be worn as a badge of honour.
Most people are just annoyed by her, or embarrassed by her.
Congratulations Lois!!!

I am so very proud. I was going to frame it, but I thought I don't want my place stinkin of her. No one is on the mailing list that doesn't come directly through signing up somewhere. It could very well be that she signed up for Speakeasy just for this forum under a screen name -
Should I look in the database for a screen name of "Rightwing Extreme Repugnant Woman?"!!

I'm glad that I'd swallowed my mouthful of milk before reading your response, Lois.

Good for you!

Ann Coulter probably dropped by Jazz Corner hoping to hear Kenny G or Chris Botti's latest ... for FREE.

Pretty incendiary stuff! No wonder she up and left.

So far, I've only uncovered that Ann Coulter likes the Grateful Dead and that Strom Thurmond liked Miles.

Ann dated Andrew Stein not that long ago. That's even stranger than Matalin-Carville.

Wow, Lois, that's pretty weird. Ann Coulter is horrible. She's a disgrace & I think, she may be a bit touched in the head.

Obviously written while in a state of distress.

Edit: I was referring to Coulter, not walto. Walto is stress-free.

I think I remember that, yes. He was an indie film fan for sure. I saw him at a small theater in Montpelier, VT, on occasion. He had a summer place in Greensboro.
