I haven't seen Tacuma in 20 years but he never failed to blow me away. His "Show Stopper" group was a killer live.

I was just thinking about this cat last week. I had two of his albums, the first one had Ornette and Bill Bruford on it; the other was a little too techno for my tastes, with synth drums. Grammavision dude, IIRC.

He and Wolfgang Puschnig had a really fun album out some years ago of funky covers of Monk tunes.
