Interesting. I would have titled this thread Left Wing Newspaper Says Left Wing Magazine Says Obama Calls Tory Leader Lightweight. Let's have some accuracy, even if this third-hand assessment is one that I pretty much share. Cameron offers a little less political substance than one of Lady Thatcher's handbags. The NS article may dismay Cameron, slightly and briefly, but it should dismay Obama more. The last thing you want to do even before you are inaugurated is alienate leaders who may be in power some number of months after you are. Obama's loose lips may be to blame for that, but I suspect this is partisan snarkiness masquerading as reportage.
