I tend to agree with your dad Scott. IMHO most "environmentalists" are of the poseur variety who seem to think that everything comes down to image. As long as they're driving a hybrid and recycling their newspapers they're environmentalists and have the right to denigrate anyone who doesn't follow suit. Personally, I think that a lot of what passes for environmentalism is a waste of time and resources. That said, I am concerned about what we are doing to our planet and try to minimize my impact, I'm just not as concerned about making sure that everyone knows that's what I'm doing.
