Since 2004 the association CABLE# in Nantes, West France organizes concerts of experimental music, performance, installations, films, improv, noise, sound art, electronic music, electro-acoustic, idiot music ... etc ... Our program is not fixed on any one ‘genre’ or ‘style’ or ‘approach’ of experimental music. Quite simply, over the years we have organised concerts for the things we find interesting, from Whitehouse to Pumice, Keith Rowe to Kan Mikami, Jean-Louis Costes to Phill Niblock ...

For our second festival CABLE# offers up our usual eclectic mix of the unusual. From the hyperactive thrash drum & gorge of CHEWBACCA, the 'Desperate noisy blues' of THE FEELING OF LOVE, the electro-acoustic improv of JEROME NOETINGER & JEAN-PHILIPPE GROSS, to the noise rock of SISTER IODINE, via sound art maestro LUC KERLEO, freejazz screamo of THE AMES ROOM, to the cut-up noise master JOHN WIESE all the way to the melancholy slide guitar of ONE LICK LESS + MORE + MORE ...
