The old curmudgeon has officially melted, imo. Hilarious.
I hope there was alcohol involved in his splenetic delivery (cf. Christopher Hitchens).

Monte, this thread is inspired. Which is another way of saying, it's the kind of thread I would start except you thought of it and I didn't. Kudos.

See I don’t see what the big deal is for Savitch. I grew up with people who lost their temper all the time. To me that’s normal. I think to have it publicly recorded is amusing. I don’t know what Lily was angry about but Jessica at least was in the right – she had a consistently no show, very tardy stage manager – people don’t change anything if you maintain the nice voice tones – you have to prod or scare them a little bit to keep them on their toes otherwise they have absolutely no impetus but to keep dicking you around. If there is anything life has taught me it’s that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. You can doormat yourself into oblivion. It’s like when my mom said "I’m yelling because otherwise you don’t listen to me" – she was totally right.

I pretty much agree, actually. Her professionalism and ability are apparent in the first vid. If anything, the second one is proof of how far she fell, and unfortunately she died soon after.

That’s cool. I actually didn’t get the point of the second vid. Wasn’t it just a collection of bloopers? I don’t remember much about Savitch but was she the newscaster that Michelle Pfeiffer portrayed in that movie?

Yeah, her performance in that first video showed some real art to her profession.

Mora had some of the most memorable meltdowns of all time.

His last one with the Saints was a classic as well.
