Ron,

We have had our difficult issues in the past and I am just as guilty as you are for escalating them.

As a New Year is upon us, I want to apologize for anything I have said or posted which caused you distress or harm. Sometimes I speak before I think of the consequences. I suspect the same is true for you.

Sincerely, I hope we can be friends in spite of our past difficulties.

And I mean this with all of my heart.

sounds like you've just joined a "12-step program," but you can count me out of this one as well.
