1992 Sony discman is the only cd player I own. It doubles on my stereo too. It outlasted my NAD by more than 9-10 years I think.

I half watched but didn’t listen to it. It’s worthwhile? It didn’t look that way but I do love The Office guy.

I think it's a very good comedy, a failed attempt to top other Life/Death comedies like Defending Your Life but definitely a great showcase for Gervais' quirky humor. I laughed out loud, and I cried a couple of times, and I snored a couple of times. Not a good video for a plane trip, as some of the lines are quick and quiet.

I heartily recommend Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones.
I've had a pair of for 2 weeks now. I'd toyed with buying them for nearly a year after reading a sterling review, and then going to Amazon.com and seeing all of the happy customers, many of whom said they were just as good as the $300. Bose's. Some people liked them better.
I finally pulled the trigger when they went below $100. Amazon now has them for $91 and change and free shipping.
I love them. I flew with them and they did an amazing job. On top of the noise cancelling feature, the fidelity/sound also knocks me out. I don't play music loudly through my speakers (I live in an apartment) and I'm used to using cheap headphones with my iPod. I literally forgot how good recorded music can sound.
Not only that, I love using them on the subway, while walking the streets or in cafes - places where the noise of city life can stress one out. I also love using them at the gym, or while listening to music at home while my wife watches insipid TV shows.
Unlike the Shures Clint recommends, these are big, dorky over the ear headphones (no dorkier than any other over the ear headphones). I've never like the feel of in the ear phones, and can't believe that they would block out external noise as well as these, but I really don't know that.
