Chris Botti - "In Boston"

Hey! Just wanted to give my thoughts about Chris Botti's latest album "In Boston". I personally love the songs because Botti invites other famous artists to work with him like Yo-Yo Ma, Sting, Dominic Miller...etc...and i just love his trumpet playing...it is the most soothing thing you'll ever hear, I promise! its also very relaxing and thats what i love about him. The album includes serious jazz, popera, classical music, American songbook, and rock, so its great in the sense that it has diversity. I recommend listening to the songs here (where i got my first taste) http://www.iheartmusic.com/cc-common...=chrisbotti_sa and then see if you want to download a particular song or even the whole album like I did!

I really don't get it. Botti is obviously not my cuppa. But I believe he can play. I don't think it's bad music. Last time I came across him on youtube he had a killer quartet behind him (Billy Childs and Billy Kilson where part, iirc) plus the very professional strings etc. In other words, there is a lot of professional business behind his productions including marketing. Why the hell do they also employ these amateur shills?
Does this crap work?

I'm sure whatever word of mouth marketing company behind this shilling has statistics that would prove it does work.
