spellcheck on JC BBS?

for those like myself, who are miserable two finger tpyists with less
than perfect yeyesight to btoo, is there any way to install a
simple spell check program on the JC BBS?

It would saave those of us afflicted similarly with a lot less time consuming
editing of ptsos..

Owning a Mac, the only spellcheck program is buried in Appleworks ,
and wont intrface with the BBS ..only works on its own dcoummnets ..

is this a doable thgin?

Thanks very mcuh

Phil, if you use Apple's own browser, Safari, you will have your spell checker on this and other boards. It will put that wavy red line under mis-spelled words and it will give you the correkt spelling if the cursor is on the word while you press down the control key.

Here is an example:

Now that I think about it, the spell checker may be a part of OS X. I am using 10.3.3, i.e. Panther, but I also had that feature back in the Jaguar days.

I smell a new computer in my future ..

trying to shove OSX Panter in my old iMac will probably give it a stroke ..

..and I have to upgrade for Finale 2004 soon anyway ..

( now going out to case some small conveinience stores to finance my lifestyle ..)
