I keep losing my cookie
I think it has to do with the latest update to Firefox. Anybody know what I have to set so I don't have to keep logging in?

I asked this same question a year or so ago when I was trying to give Firefox another go. Nobody had an answer then, I'm not surprised that that hasn't changed.
It's one of the reasons why I completely gave up on Firefox.
Switch to Chrome.

Would it help to check the "Remember Me?" box when logging in?

Try this:
1. Tools > Options
2. Privacy tab
3. Under Private data, click Settings.
4. In the Clear Private Data box, check if the Cookies option is selected.
If cookies are selected as part of private data to be cleared, you'll wipe your cookie every time you click Tools > Clear private data; if you have selected Always clear my private data when I close Firefox in the Privacy tab of the Options box, then it will be wiped after every Firefox session.

Hmmm...
I'll have to check my Firefox when I get home to see if any of those options may be why it would never hold my cookie.
If so, that's fucking bullshit for them to set their browser up that way (I made absolutely no changes when I installed it).

Unless you click Tools/Clear Private Data, then Tom's post will not help you.
Usually when there's a problem with firefox, it can be solved by uninstalling add-ons and then reinstalling them one at a time. There could be a conflict between two add-ons. Sometimes, one can add back all of his add-ons and the problem doesn't come back.

Actually, a subsequent automatic update seems to have solved it without my doing anything.
