So, I really enjoyed the Hong Kong Phooey clip and went to Wiki which led me to finding out more about the very neato Scatman Crothers. If Wiki is to believed (which nobody should take for granted), Crothers has a really hip jazz background AND his birthday is the same day as my husbands: May 23.
