Major bummer. There's nothing like a little Koko to make you appreciate the power of the blues. She definitely had a way of making you sit up and pay attention. Another one of the greats that I regret never having seen live.

Koko was a force of nature.

One of the best blues sets I've ever seen was Koko with Willie Dixon at the L.B. Blues Festival.
