Prospective Dallas Observer Jazz Group for 2009

Hello Friends, Colleagues, and Family!

Once again, our jazz trio, Dennis Gonzalez Yells At Eels, is in the running for the Dallas Observer's Jazz Group of the Year for 2009. 2009 is our 10th year of existence, as we played our first show here in Dallas in May of 2009. Since then we have toured Europe, Canada, and the US, and have played with some major musicians...lots of music under our wings to show for it! And it would be fun to win.

We are up against a major name, the NTSU One O'Clock Lab Band, but we have fans all over the globe who have heard us and love us and our music, so we think we have a chance with you on our side.

So, how can you help us?

2) Fill in your name and other information the Observer asks for.

3) Follow the "Next" link at the bottom of the page until you get #24 category, "Best Jazz Act"

4) We are the last group on the list "Yells At Eels", so click on the little circle to the left of our name

5) Click the "Next" links all the way to the end until there is nowhere else to go, and then click on "Submit"
